●受賞者作品紹介コメント
・この絵は、ぼくが考えたオリンピックで活躍するロボットです。名前は「ロボ太郎」です。This is Robo-Taro. どのように活躍するロボットなのかを紹介します。
・①外国人にも親しみやすく、なおかつ日本らしさをアピールするために侍にしました。
・②広い会場内を動き回り、また階段を上り下りすることを可能にするためキャタピラにしました。
・③病人看護の時の為にAEDを搭載しています。また、ロボ太郎自身がAEDを扱えるようになっています。
・④ロボ太郎は、病人を見ただけで何の病気かわかるようになっています。
・⑤そのほかにも、通訳はもちろん道案内、荷物の運搬、掃除、不審者を発見すると、警察に通報する機能もあります。
・人々の安全を守ることを第一に考えてデザインしてみました。
I introduce performances of this robot.
①Robo-Taro is dressed up as Samurai, which gives foreigners a sense of familiarity and which appeals Japaneseness to them.
②There are caterpillars, which make it possible to move around a huge arena and to go up and down stairs.
③Robo-Taro is equipped with AED for caring for the sick and also knows how to use it.
④Robo-Taro can identify the disease name when seeing a sick person at a glance.
⑤ There are additional functions: translation, guide, load carriage, cleaning, and reporting suspicious person to the police.
I designed this robot thinking first about security of people.

救急用のロボットは今回もたくさんありましたし、本当のオリンピックでも出てくると思います。安心安全がすぐわかるという点と、外国人にわかりやすい侍の姿です。Even foreigners are familiar with Samurai.絵から考えていったのではなく、安全という観点からデザインに入っている部分はやり方として正しく、意識の高さが感じられます。
There were many robots for first-aid in this contest. I think that these robots will exist in actual Olympic Games in the future.The image of Samurai makes us possible to quickly recognize the safety and security. I praise him for the way that he began designing this robot from the aspect of safety. I feel that he has fully consciousness.
