The board member of exiii Inc. They have been developing an accessible myoelectric hand (handiii). They think that prosthetic hands are not just a welfare device but an item for expressing users’ personalities more easily such as watches and kicks. They obtained an award in James Dyson Award 2013 and won in Gugen Contest 2013.

This is the first time to sit on juries of Grand Prix Franco-Japonais de Designs de Robots. We are sure that this contest gives children an opportunity to use their creativities and to challenge new things. As this theme, Olympic, which is one of the most famous sport festivals in the world, becomes an important milestone even for thinking about how robots and human are related to each other in society.
